Stylophone Retro Pocket Synth Keychain

Stylophone Retro Pocket Synth Keychain Review

Stylophone Retro Pocket Synth Keychain Feature

  • A miniature synthesiser keypad in the palm of your hand!
  • Concert tuned keyboard octave
  • Built-in speaker
  • Includes stylus & batteries
  • Join the Stylophone revolution!
Famously touted by a very enthusiastic Rolf Harris back in the 70's the Stylophone went straight to the top of three million Christmas lists. Oh how our parents regretted that decision. Because these unputdownable electronic warblers can make the most appalling racket in the wrong hands.

Touching the stylus to one of the nickel keys completes a circuit, creating a unique tone. Each key creates a different tone, giving you a miniature synthesiser keypad in the palm of your hand. Or should we say pocket? Because this Mini Stylophone Keychain is so small you can take it anywhere with you.

Just as fiendishly playable as the original, this miniaturised classic lets you knock out glorious electro synth-pop classics wherever you are. Announce your entrance to a room, play along to the radio, tune up your singing voice, or just give it to the musically-challenged person in your life.

The WAVEDRUM is distinguished by its revolutionary synthesis technology, and by an interface that allows a direct physical method of performance, making it the ideal instrument for replicating and articulating these exacting Arabic sounds. Arabic percussion - indispensible to belly dancing, world music, and other popular genres - owes its groove and exotic atmosphere not just to its non-western musical theory and unique performance techniques, but also to the distinctive sound of specific percussion instruments including the doumbek, darbuka, riq, def, and tar, even the bendir. The striking surfaces of these Arabic percussion instruments are extremely simple, yet they are able to produce a wide range of timbres, one of the essential requirements for playing these inimitable Arabic sounds.

Dave Smith Instruments Evolver Analog Synthesizer

Dave Smith Instruments Evolver Analog Synthesizer Review

Dave Smith Instruments Evolver Analog Synthesizer Feature

  • Monophonic sound2 analog and 2 digital oscillatorsSawtooth, triangle, saw-triangle.
It's small, it's powerful, it's a synth, an effects unit, a 16 step sequencer... oh yes, it's ANALOG. Not analog modeling, the real deal. The whole array: Sawtooth, Triangle, Saw-Triangle, and Pulse. The Evolver's not just analog either; you get 92 digital wavetable waveforms to choose from. In total you get four oscillators - two analog, two digital. The analog oscillators are hard syncable, while the digital ones can be linked via FM and ring mod. The Evolver offers you a multitude of sound-shaping features you just won't see in the competition without spending several times more. How about REAL ANALOG filters? Lowpass filters are not digital recreations. 4-pole/2-pole switchable, fully resonant (in 4-pole mode). There are two separate filters, one for the left channel and one for the right. The 16-step sequencer can be controlled by MIDI or an external input (oh yes, it has that too). Use the input to process external audio signals via effects and filters. This little beauty will be the ideal addition to even the most discriminating synth lover's collection! Features: Four oscillators in total: two analog, two digital Analog Oscillator waveshape are Sawtooth, Triangle, Saw-Triangle, and Pulse (with voltage-controlled analog Pulse-Width modulation) Digital Oscillators select from 96 wavetables from the Prophet-VS (128 x 12 bits), and 32 user-loadable (via MIDI) Wavetables (128 x 16 bits). The Digital Oscillators get trashy as the frequency gets higher, a...
